The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
